This was made quite a number of years ago for my eldest daughters birthday,When she was tiny and loved her bed time stories her favorite book had stories and rhymes,every night we had to read about kittens in a basket.Many years have past since then,so when i made her this quilt i incorporated some of her favorite stories and of course kittens in a basket had to be first on the list......i must add that she treasures it....
